As some of you know, I recently become a U.S. citizen. I’m proud to say that it has been one of the most important days since I came to the US. Growing up in this country to become the woman I am today was a painful and rewarding experience at the same time; living without my family has been the most challenging part. I never imagined the long journey, but I only know it was all worthy. I’m so thankful with my adopted country for giving me the opportunity to pursuit my happiness. Even thought, I am so proud of my Bolivian roots where I was born and lived a big part of my life, I feel so honored to become a U.S. citizen. One of the best parts about this amazing life experience was meeting my husband; I don’t think I would ever do this without LOVE. God has blessed me with an amazing husband to share this life with . Thanks for the struggles that gave me the strength, and make me believe that there are no limits when you have faith and perseverance. As I always say; the best is yet to come, because the dream never ends… So, this year will be an especial celebration for me. I have already started dressing up with the colors of the Independence Day with this blue Maggy London Dress; the color and style make it a classic, flattering piece that will always be in style, and the bold, unconventional cut brings a modern feel to it. Estoy orgullosa de decir que ha sido uno de los días más importantes desde que llegué al pais del norte. Haber crecido en este país me ha conviertido en la mujer que ahora soy, y ha sido una experiencia dolorosa y enrriquecedora al mismo tiempo; la parte mas díficil ha sido vivir lejos de mi familia. Nunca me imaginé el largo viaje, pero sólo sé que valio la pena el sacrificio. Estoy muy agradecida con mi país de adopción por darme la oportunidad de la búsqueda de mi felicidad. Aunque me siento muy orgullosa de mis raíces bolivianas; donde nací y viví una gran parte de mi vida, me siento también muy honrada de convertirme en ciudadana estadounidense. Una de las mejores partes de esta increíble experiencia de vida fue conocer a mi esposo; no creo poder haber llegado hasta aquí sin AMOR. Dios me ha bendecido con un esposo maravilloso para compartir esta vida. Gracias a las luchas que me dieron las fuerzas, y me hicieron creer que no existen límites cuando se tiene fé y perseverancia. Como siempre digo; lo mejor está por venir, porque el sueño nunca termina… Así, este año será una celebración especial para mí. Ya he empezado a ponerme en los colores del 4 de julio con este vestido azul de Maggy London; el color y el estilo lo convierten en un clásico, pieza sentadora que siempre va a estar a la moda, y el, corte convencional que porta un toque moderno a la misma.
