Lavender Dream... - We Shop in Heels

When I was in the creative process of designing my blog, one of the hardest decisions was to choose a color that represents it. As many colors came to my mind, I wanted something that showcases my personality. It doesn’t have to get so much attention, but still pretty and easy to the eyes. As I had never been so much of a pink girl, I always prefer colors in between; therefore, purple is always a great option. Before making up my mind I did some research about the meaning of this shade of purple. I found out that “Lavender” suggests refinement along with grace, elegance, and something special. I immediately felt in love with the meaning, and I already knew what I wanted my blog to look like. Now, you know a my favorite color and the story behind my logo 😉

…and because life feels more glamorous in tutu skirts. Today, I’m wearing this tulle skirt from Shabby Apple. I styled it with a striped shirt, white pointy pumps (as my friend Carrie Bradshaw taught me) and my latest favorite sunglasses for the final touch…

Cuando comencé el proceso creativo de diseñar mi blog, una de las decisiones más difíciles fue la de elegir un color que lo represente. Muchos colores vinieron a mi mente, yo quería algo que muestre mi personalidad. Un color que no requiera de mucha atención, pero que sea bonito y agradable a la vista. Como no soy tanto de colores rosas, prefiero los colores en el medio; por lo tanto, el color púrpura es siempre una buena opción. Antes de tomar una decisión hice una investigación sobre el significado de esta gama de color púrpura. Me enteré de que el color “lavanda” sugiere gracia, elegancia, y algo especial. Inmediatamente me sentí enamorada del significado, e inspirada para el look de mi blog.

…y porque la vida es más glamurosa en faldas tutu. Hoy estoy vistiendo esta falda de tul de Shabby Apple. Me la puse con una camisa a rayas, tacones blancos en punta (como mi amiga Carrie Bradshaw me enseñó), y mis gafas favoritas para darle el toque chic…
