Smile Brilliant Pictorial + Giveaway!

As a coffee drinker and wine lover, having a bright smile is very challenging and difficult to maintain. Lately, I was not feeling comfortable with the color of my teeth to the point that I was not feeling confident wearing a red lipstick (you know how much I love red lips). One of my last experiences was at a laser teeth whitening booth at the mall, and to be honest; it lasted till the end of the day. At my last visit to the dentist, I inquired about the whitening procedure that cost about $500, with no guarantee on the results. I have also tried homemade products, but it was not enough. Just on time, I was contacted by the Smile Brilliant team to try out their at-home whitening kit. I was very hesitant at first, but after doing some research and learning more about the product, I decided to give it a try.

Como amante del café y el vino, tener una sonrisa brillante es muy desafiante y difícil de mantener. Últimamente, yo no me sentía cómoda con el color de mis dientes hasta el punto de no sentirme segura usando un labial rojo (ustedes saben cuánto amo los labios rojos). Una de mis últimas experiencias fue un blanqueamiento dental con láser en el stand de un centro comercial, y para ser honesta; duró hasta el final del día. En mi última visita al dentista, pregunté sobre el procedimiento de blanqueamiento que cuesta alrededor de 500 $us., sin ninguna garantía sobre los resultados. También he intentado productos hechos en casa, pero no fue suficiente. Justo a tiempo, fui contactada por el equipo de Smile Brilliant para probar su kit de blanqueamiento en casa. Yo estaba muy indecisa al principio, pero después de hacer algunas investigaciones y aprender más sobre el producto, decidí darle una oportunidad.

I received the dental impressions kit in a short time. Basically, the kit included 3 sets of impression material (the third one provided in case you make a mistake), 2 trays, the gels, and the envelope with the return card to mail the impressions.

Having experienced it myself, the instructions guide were so easy to follow, and I didn’t take more than 6 minutes to create the dental impressions. I extremely recommend you to read the instructions guide carefully to be more confident to create your dental impressions.

En poco tiempo recibí el kit de impresiones dentales. Básicamente, el kit incluye 3 juegos de material de impresión (el tercero en caso de que cometa un error), 2 bandejas,  geles blanqueadores y el sobre con la tarjeta de retorno para enviar por correo las impresiones.

Por experiencia propia, la guía de instrucciones es muy fácil de seguir, y no tome más de 6 minutos para crear las impresiones dentales. Les recomiendo mucho leer la guía de instrucciones cuidadosamente para estar más seguras del proceso de creación de sus impresiones dentales.

Few days later, I received the invisible trays to start my whitening process. The trays came in a case, and they have a long-lasting quality. The Smile Brilliant team also sent me the molds so I can see the quality of the trays.

Pocos días después, recibí las bandejas invisibles para comenzar mi proceso de blanqueamiento. Las bandejas vienen en un estuche, y tienen una calidad duradera. El equipo de Smile Brilliant me envió los moldes para que pueda ver la calidad de las bandejas.


My Recommendations: 
In order to get better results, I had to give up dark drinks for the days of the whitening process. I used the trays at my leisure time; before bed time or while working on the blog. Also, brush my teeth before the application.

My Experience:
I had a little sensitivity from the procedure, but it was really minimal. My teeth had stains from coffee and wine, therefore; they were loosing their true color. It usually takes 5-7 applications to see the results, I started getting results after the 4th application. My natural teeth color are not pearl white, so I was not really expecting my teeth to be extremely white.

 Cons & Pros

Cons:
1. I had to give up coffee and wine for the time of the procedure. (hardest part for me)
2. Teeth sensitivity (It varies depending on the teeth sensitivity).

Pros:
1. Easy to use at the comfort of my home.
2. The price is reasonable, and you can still use the trays for a lifetime.
3. Having a whiter smile make us look younger. (A good plus!)

Mis Recomendaciones:
Con el fin de obtener mejores resultados, tuve que renunciar a las bebidas oscuras para los días del proceso de blanqueamiento. Usé las bandejas en mi tiempo libre; antes de dormir o durante el trabajo en el blog. También, cepillarme los dientes antes de la aplicación.

Mi Experiencia:
Tuve un poco de sensibilidad del procedimiento, pero era realmente mínima. Mis dientes tenían manchas de café y vino, por lo tanto; estaban perdiendo su verdadero color. Por lo general toma 5-7 aplicaciones para ver los resultados, mis resultados se vieron después de la cuarta aplicación. Mi color natural de los dientes no son realmente blanco perla, así que en realidad no estaba esperando mis dientes extremadamente blancos.

Pros y Contras de mi experiencia:

Contras:
1. Tuve que dejar el café y el vino durante el procedimiento. (parte más difícil para mí)
2. La sensibilidad de los dientes (Varía dependiendo de la sensibilidad de los dientes).

Pros:
1. Fácil de usar en la comodidad de mi hogar.
2. El precio es razonable, y se puede utilizar las bandejas para toda la vida.
3. Tener una sonrisa más blanca nos hace lucir más jóvenes.
Final Results/Resultados finales

A brighter shade in my teeth developed after a week of using the Smile Brilliant kit. Now I can smile with more confidence when wearing a red lipstick.
