Smoothies are always a good option to start adding more fruits and vegetables to our diet.  In addition to that, they are easy to prepare and delicious!

The gold kiwi is very sweet and provide our body with a great source of vitamin C, E, antioxidants and fiber.  This delicious smoothie not only has an amazing taste, but also provides us with essential nutrients for our body.  Kiwi fiber helps eliminate toxins and cleanse the colon, it is high in antioxidants and help fight free radicals that oxidize the body to prevent premature aging.  Eating kiwi fruit can boost your inmune system and can help managed blood pressure.  Studies suggest that consuming 2-3 kiwifruit each day for four weeks helps thin and reduce fat in the blood which lowers the risk of clots and blockages.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup coconutmilk.
  • 4 kiwi gold.
  • 1 banana.
  • 1 cup mix spinach ,kale, chard and mizuna.
  • 1 tsp chia seeds.
  • 1/2 tsp coconut palm sugar.

Preparation:
Mix the ingredients in a blender.  Blend in high for 30 seconds or until the smoothie is creamy (you can add ice). Serve and enjoy!
