As a Urban Decay Lover, I was so excited when I heard about this amazing collaboration with Gwen Stefani. I absolutely adore her style; she has a casual and tomboy mashed up with old hollywood glamour, featuring bold red lips and makeup as part of her signature look. If you have been following me on Instagram @weshopinheels, you know I had the opportunity to attend to the launch of her collection in New York City. It was a fun event filled with pop music, great food, and makeup; of course! I absolutely love the collection, so I have to share it with you!
I got my hands on the UD X Gwen Stefani eyeshade palette, blush palette, eye brow kit, lipliner, and lipsticks as part of the sourvenir at the UDXGWEN event. The eyeshadow palette includes 15 gorgeous shades; featuring neutrals, golds, deep colors, among other beautiful shades to blend to perfection.
The UD x Gwen Stefani Blush palette is amazing, because it has a sheer finish on the cheeks. It also has a bronze color (Lo-Fi) that works perfectly with my skin tone to contour my face. But that’s not all, it also works as a highlighter; I use the shade (angel) to highlight my face, and I’m obsessed with it!
I’m so in love with the collection as I have been playing and testing out the products. The case she designed is gorgeous and the eyeshadow colors are based on her songs. The UD x Gwen Stefani lipsticks are absolutely beautiful with long-lasting colors; I had to use makeup remover to remove the lipstick stains. I personally love the color I’m wearing at the pictorial (Firebird), it’s such a fun bright purple color; perfect to make a difference!

Step by Step Gwen Stefani Inspired Makeup Tutorial:
1. Apply Urban Decay eyeshadow primer potion in “Minor Sin” Concealer all over the lid.
2. From the UD x Gwen Stefani Eyeshadow Palette dust color “Anaheim” on the lower lid, up to the crease.
3. Then Layer eyeshadow “Zone” until both color blend together.
4. Apply “Skimp” and “Bathwater” colors together all over the eye lid area, brow bone, and inner corner of the eyes.
5. Add deep to the eyes applying “Punk” color on the lower lid, up to the crease.
6. Apply liquid eyeliner until you obtain a cat eye look.
7. Apply Urban Decay Subversion Lash Primer for thicker, longer and stronger eyelashes.
8. Layer 3-4 coats of mascara for the ultimate full lash effect.
9. Using an eyeliner brush; apply the eyeshadow “Punk” from the UD x Gwen Stefani Eyeshadow palette on the lower lash line.
10. Then apply Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-on eye pencil in “cuff” in waterline area.
11. Apply Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer in “light neutral” all over the under eye area.
12. From the UD x Gwen Stefani Blush Palette; apply “Easy” color on the apples of the cheeks.
13. From the UD x Gwen Stefani Blush Palette; apply ” Lo-Fi” color to contour.
14. From the UD x Gwen Stefani Blush Palette; apply “Angel” color to highlight checkbones, bridge of the nose, cupid bow, and chin.
15. I filled in my eyebrows using the UD x Gwen Stefani Brow Box (Eyebrow kit) in “Bathwater Blonde”.
16. Finally, I use the UD x Gwen Stefani lipstick in “Firebird” after using the matching lipliner.
