Vegan Energy Bites

The great thing about adopting a healthy lifestyle is that there are many delicious and nutritious options. This vegan energizing snacks recipe is perfect for that sweet craving or to give you lots of energy before doing any physical activity, they are very easy to prepare just in a matter of minutes, save them in the refrigerator, and are ideal for sharing with friends. This delicious recipe doesn’t contain preservatives and added sugars.

  • Oatmeal is a very complete cereal, and contains essential minerals like magnesium, zinc, calcium and iron, and is rich in fiber, which helps reduce blood cholesterol.
  • Coconut provides good fats.
  • Dates are excellent to sweeten any dessert, are rich in fiber and potassium.
  • Flaxseed is high in omegas as it helps to promote a healthy, shiny hair.
  • Almond cream provides you with healthy fats and contains vitamin E.
  • Molasses is a natural sweetener, rich in Potassium, Magnesium and Zinc.
  • Gojiberries are a super food, with a high content of antioxidants.
  • Vegetable protein and hemp seeds are a super food rich in Fiber, Sulfur, Calcium, Antioxidants and contains Vitamin E.

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of organic whole oats (Non-GMO).
  • 1 tablespoon organic ground flaxseed.
  • 1/2 cup of organic seedless dates.
  • 1 teaspoon of organic molasses.
  • 1/2 cup of organic dehydrated coconut.
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted organic almond cream.
  • 1/2 cup organic gojiberries.
  • 1 tablespoon organic chocolate flavored hemp protein.
  • Pink Himalayan salt (just a hint)
  • Water (1 or 2 tablespoons).

Preparation:

Put all the ingredients in a food processor and mix until a manageable mass is obtained to be able to form the balls with the hands. Once the pellets are made, cover with dehydrated coconut or raw cocoa powder and ready. You can refrigerate and eat them later!
