Welcome Catalina Valery

On January 30th, 2019 we welcomed our little baby girl ‘Catalina Valery’ weighting 9 pounds 5 ounces and 21.5 inches. We are very proud parents of a beautiful & healthy baby girl. As a new mom, it’s been a couple of months of mixed feelings and emotions, but most of all; so much happiness to see her grow into a happy and healthy baby. This life experience has been challenging and amazing at the same time. After having some difficulties, I succeeded at breastfeeding. Being able to provide the best to my baby makes me feel like a super mom. Thankfully, I have experienced a great postpartum recovery and looking forward to start exercising outdoors while enjoying the season. Hopefully, get back to my gym routine and fit in my jeans again soon.

I want to share a little glimpse of my Easter inspired nursery room. I started decorating my baby’s room when I was seven month pregnant and little by little it turned out the way we wanted. After looking for some inspiration we decided to do an Easter theme with cute rabbits. First thing I bought was the furniture (Crib, changing table & swivel chair), and the rabbit nursery rocker was a great addition to the room theme. For the nursery room decoration I wanted to create a versatile look that I can change from time to time as she gets older. So, it will be fun to update her room in the future just by adding a cute wall decal and few accessories.

As I knew we were going to get a lot of stuff every time, I decided to keep it simple because the style is going to change as Catalina grows up. We transformed the look of the room into a story book just by using some wall decals. Catalina’s favorite room accent is the mirror. She loves looking a t herself and play peekaboo with mommy.

After debating about getting a multi-convertible crib, I decided to invest in an 2-1 crib (infant to toddler) that can save storage and be usable in the future. Wait, did I just say I want to have another baby? LOL

We wanted to capture this beautiful moment holding my beautiful angel in my arms. For this occasion, I wore a white gown from Etsy and added just a few dainty earrings for the final look.

I want to get back to post more often. But I can’t say anything right now, because my role as full time mom demands a lot of time and I am enjoying my little Catalina every minute.  My duties as a new mom are calling right now, so I will leave it here until my next post!
